Joan’s watercolors show a love of nature in her realistic layered approach. She does a variety of subject matter from landscapes, to fruits, flowers, and an occasional still life.

Joan studied at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, the North Shore Art League, Evanston Art Center, Gay Riseborough Studio, the Halstead Academy of Portrait Art and the Alain Gavin Studio.

She exhibits her work throughout the Chicago area as well as in Wisconsin and Florida.

Joan’s numerous commissions, gallery representation and personal work are in corporate as well as many private collections.
