On May 5, Antioch School District 34, the Chamber Of Commerce, and the Antioch Fine Arts Foundation is sponsoring an Art Crawl.

Student artwork is to be displayed in store windows of businesses in downtown Antioch that are located on Main and Lake Street. Various school groups will perform at the band shell and throughout the downtown area from 10:00 to 5:00. Bands, choirs, student drama groups, student dance groups will perform during the event.

Artists are invited to display, demonstrate, and sell their work during the day. Exact locations are still being finalized but several will be set up around the gallery and Meeting House yard ( like the Art on the Lawn setup), in the Park Avenue Mall concourse ( outside SuZannes's new location and adjacent to the Health Club), and maybe around the store front areas in downtown. There is no charge for this opportunity. We welcome this opportunity to be a part of this event. It can only help to give the Art Foundation more positive exposure to our community. We will be opening this up to any artists from any group or town. The Chamber would like this to become an annual event. Please contact Roger if you are interested in this.
